Biciklistička tura Krkom [ Cycling Tour of Krk ]
Jednodnevna biciklistička vožnja po Krku, dužine 30 km, održat će se 17. kolovoza. Vožnja je namjenjena počenicima, ali i iskusnijim biciklistima, s naglaskom na uživanju u predivnim krajolicima otoka Krka. Sudionici će imati mogućnost koristiti vlastiti bicikl, a ako ga nemaju, bit će dostupna opcija najma bicikla. Minimalna dob za sudjelovanje u vožnji je 18 godina ili 14 godina uz pratnju roditelja ili skrbnika.

Polazak je zakazan za 10 sati ujutro ispred Osnovne škole “Fran Krsto Frankopan”. Krenut ćemo laganim tempom prema sjeveru te prvoj destinaciji - ruševinama dvorca Salatić. Nakon razgledavanja slijedi lagani spust i pauza za ručak, koja je predviđena u 13 sati.
Poslije ručka, spustit ćemo se do plaže Jert gdje ćemo imati pauzu za kupanje i uživanje u suncu. Nakon toga, vraćamo se prema gradu Krku, sa planiranom pauzom kod ruševne crkve sv. Sofije, gdje ćemo uživati u prekrasnom pogledu na cijeli grad Krk.
Postoji i mogućnost zaustavljanja na Plavu za još jedno kupanje prije povratka na polazište. Predviđen završetak ture je oko 17 h.

A one-day cycling ride on the island of Krk, covering a distance of 30 km, will take place on August 17th. The ride is intended for both beginners and experienced cyclists, with a focus on enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Krk. Participants will have the option to use their own bikes, or rent one if they do not have their own. The minimum age for participation is 18 years, or 14 years if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The start is scheduled for 10 AM in front of the “Fran Krsto Frankopan” Elementary School. We will begin at a leisurely pace heading north to our first destination – the ruins of Salatić Castle. After exploring the ruins, we will have a gentle descent and a lunch break, which is planned for 1 PM.
After lunch, we will descend to Jert Beach where we will take a break for swimming and enjoying the sun. Following that, we will head back towards the town of Krk, with a planned stop at the ruins of St. Sophia's Church, where we will enjoy a stunning view of the entire town of Krk.
There is also the option to stop at Plava for another swim before returning to the starting point. The tour is expected to finish around 5 PM.
