Austrian Heartbeats in Zagreb
On Thursday the 13th of November 2014 a delegation of Austrian artists, record labels and music professionals heads to Zagreb for a networking and exchange visit. The Austrian indie music scene is very vivid at the moment but is mostly unknown in Croatia. The event wants to give Croatian music and media professionals as well as the local audience an opportunity to connect with the Austrian music scene. The aim is to establish new musical cooperation and exchange between our two countries.
We are pleased to invite you to a networking session and a reception at Galerija Nova as well as a set of concerts at KSET! The night will present some of the most interesting new Austrian bands and is developed in cooperation with Muzika.hr, Waves Vienna and supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum Zagreb as well as by Advantage Austria.

Pop glazba u prostoru oko Alpa posljednjih je godina doživjela zamjetan uspjeh: sve više izvanrednih umjetnika stječe ugled izvan područja Austrije. Bečka klupska i producentska scena je u procvatu, pojavili su se i festivali poput Waves Vienna. Kao neposredan rezultat toga, Austrija je 2014. g. bila u fokusu najvažnijeg europskog showcase festivala Eurosonic Noorderslag.
Delegacija austrijskih umjetnika, diskografskih kuća, promotora, festivala i novinara posjetit će Zagreb 13. studenoga kako bi proširili svoju mrežu kontakata i razmijenili ideje. Okrugli stolovi i radionice rasvijetlit će austrijsku i hrvatsku glazbenu scenu, a neki od najzanimljivijih austrijskih novijih grupa će i nastupati.
Četiri austrijska umjetnika bit će prisutna u Zagrebu: FAREWELL DEAR GHOST mladi je kantautor iz Graza koji izvodi prekrasno angažiran indie rock, dok DUST COVERED CARPET iz Beča miješa komorni rock i elemente synth-wavea. HELLA COMET izvodit će na svojoj gitari djela sa svojeg posljednjeg albuma „Wild Honey“ koji odiše post-rockom. POLA RIOT ujedno su DJ duo i promotori jedinstvenih klupskih noći u glavnom gradu Austrije – poznati su po svojim eksplozivnim setovima, future techno i house glazbi.
Ulaz na koncerte moguće je ostvariti s pozivnicom, a za ostale goste postojati će ograničen broj besplatnih ulaznica.
